The Effect of Psychological and Social Interventions on Risky Driving: A Clinical Trial Study by Using Simulated and Real Driving
Introduction and aim: Road traffic crashes (RTC) are leading cause of fatalities, injuries, and property damages among all accidents in Iran. Shahroud region is one of the critical area in this regard geographically. Risky driving behaviors have been identified as a significant factor in RTC, contributed to the most dangerous and severe injuries and fatalities. The current study aim to explore the effect of psychological and social interventions on risky driving by using simulated and real driving.
Methods: A clinical trial study examines the four type of psychological and social interventions, targeting risky drivers and unsafe behavior that is approved by traffic polices. The study investigates how one measure is affected more than another on risky drivers.
