Missions

The missions of the Ophthalmic Epidemiology Research Center include the implementation of cohort/ longitudinal studies with the aim of promoting eye health. During past years, two longitudinal studies; Shahroud Eye Cohort Study Performance three phases in 2009, 2014, and 2019 and, also Shahroud School Children Eye Cohort Study (SSCECS) in 2015 and 2018, have been designed and implemented.

Furthermore, our policy is conducted based on research priorities that will be announced by the World Health Organization and Ministry Of Health And Medical Education of the Islamic Republic of Iran annually.

We are welcoming to cooperation with other national and international universities.
