The ICU1 ward is one of the key departments in Bahar hospital  for the reception of high-risk patients in women, pediatrics, internal medicine, neurology, surgery and dialysis for critically ill and hospitalized patients in Shahroud city, which due to the availability of sophisticated equipment and facilities and experienced specialists  and sub-specialists in all fields of medicine it  can accept patients from other health centers in the suburbs and nearby cities, including Damghan, Miami, Jajarm, etc. This ward is located on the second floor of Bahar Hospital, adjacent to the operating room, O & G and postpartum. It includes a double line with 9 adult beds, 1 pediatric picu bed and 2 dialysis beds. In each line, an isolation room is provided for infectious and high-risk social patients according to the condition, type of disease and the diagnosis of the attending physician. Each unit has been equipied with a console with suction and central oxygen, syringe pump, serum pump, ventilator, monitor, triple bed, wavy mattress, ambobag, and CCTV camera and each unit is separated from the adjacent unit using a nano curtain.

The equipments of this ward include:

ECG machine, echo machine, baby and adult scale, dialysis machine, emergency trolley, electroshock machine, heart monitor, portable heart monitor, portable suction, ventilator, portable ventilator, serum pump, syringe pump, portable radiology machine, lead shield, ABG machine , glucocheck device, thermometer, ophthalmoscope, otoscope, oxygen hood, trolley visit and medicine and dressing, medicine nebulizer, warmer, cold and hot fumigation device. Due to the ban on meeting in special departments, the visiting room is designed separately with an independent entrance and has a TV and a chair, for the convenience of the visitors. In this ward we admit high-risk pediatric patients and code 88, high-risk

female patients (code 44), inpatients, critical emergency patients, patients sent from Imam Hossein (PBUH) hospital and other centers and surgical and orthopedic patients for special POST OR care and POST CPR patients.
