Obstetrics & Gynecology Ward

The Gynecological Surgery Ward of Bahar Hospital is one of the key departments in this treatment complex and the center for accepting high-risk pregnant patients and all kinds of gynecological and infertility surgeries in Shahroud County. Bahar Hospital with the sophisticated equipment and facilities and the presence of knowledgable and qualified gynocologists and infertility experts is eligible of accepting patients from other health centers in the suburbs and nearby cities like Damghan, Miami, Jajerm, etc.

This department is located on the second floor of Bahar Hospital, adjacent to the operating room/ICU and postpartum, and has 10 inpatient rooms with 24 adult beds, including 4 rooms with 4 beds, 2 rooms with 2 beds, and 4 private rooms (with single bed). All rooms are equipped with TV, refrigerator, bathroom and toilet, console with suction, oxygen and central nurse call system, etc.

It has an examination room includes a gynecology bed, dressings, ECG, fetal monitoring, sonication, scale, resuscitation set and catheterization set, cerclage set, equipped with an emergency trolley, electroshock and portable suction cardiac monitor.

Admission of all ladies with high-risk pregnancies, including high blood pressure (pre-eclampsia), pregnancy caused bleeding, abortion, ectopic pregnancy; surgery and laparoscopy are performed in this ward.
