The educational’s objectives for Shahroud University of Medical Sciences are include students education and training at different levels of education. It hires qualified faculty members and promote their knowledge and skills in scientific methods. The objectives would supply the community's needs with efficient human resources in health aspect. In this regard, It enacts new laws by using the available information and the attitudes of the university's experts and revise it which provides dynamic areas toward supplying the basic needs and actual needs of the university either.

Planning's department plays an effective role in the ranking and validation in Shahroud University of medical sciences which promote qualitative and quantitative indicators in terms of education.

Obligations of Vice Chancellor:

• Preparation, proposing general principles for training programs and supervision their implementation.
• Communicate with other educational centers both inside and outside the country.
• Review plans for changing or developing a training program.
• Supervising other dependent sections of this department and monitoring the excellent execution of their duties.
• Taking permission for new majors.
• Consideration and obtaining information about the scholarship status.
• Granting scholarship, recruiting faculty members and expert.
