Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is located on the second floor of the hospital, adjacent to Intensive Care Unit 1 (ICU 1) and near the Gynecology Surgery Ward. This unit provides the most critical level of specialized care to severely ill children. The unit is equipped with six active and up-to-date beds and one standard isolation room for patients with special conditions. The staff includes specialized Pediatric Critical Care physicians, experienced nurses, and a 24-hour team, all operating under the direct supervision of a Pediatric Specialist. Each bed is equipped with full monitoring, including ECG, pulse oximetry, temperature control, blood pressure, oxygen, and central suction. The nursing station features advanced central monitoring systems. Furthermore, for more critical scenarios, the PICU is equipped with advanced technologies, including mechanical ventilators and cardiopulmonary support equipment (if necessary), all within a beautifully designed and calming environment.
