Shahroud University Hosts Crisis Management Scenario Workshop

Shahroud, Iran – May 16, 2026 – Shahroud University of Medical Sciences organized a specialized workshop on “Scenario Planning in Crisis Management” to boost operational readiness and empower key personnel for unexpected events.

The virtual workshop gathered 40 civil defense coordinators from various university departments and aimed to equip them with skills to develop preventive plans and respond rapidly to crises.

Experts highlighted key areas including resilient organizational structures, simulation exercises, multilateral coordination, and scientific methods for scenario planning. Participants also took part in hands-on exercises, designing realistic crisis scenarios for their units.

The event marks a significant step in strengthening the university’s civil defense infrastructure and ensuring coordinated, effective responses to potential emergencies.
