Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Care

The Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Care Program, offered by the School of Nursing, is designed to train skilled and competent professionals capable of providing immediate medical care and emergency services before hospital admission. This program focuses on developing students’ knowledge and practical skills in emergency assessment, trauma management, patient stabilization, and safe transportation of patients in critical conditions.

Students are trained in areas such as emergency medical procedures, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), management of trauma and acute medical conditions, disaster and crisis response, and coordination with emergency healthcare systems. Through theoretical education and practical training in clinical environments, students develop the essential competencies required to respond effectively to emergency situations and provide high-quality pre-hospital care.

Graduates of this program can work in emergency medical services, ambulance organizations, disaster response teams, and other healthcare settings related to emergency care. They play an important role in providing timely interventions, improving patient outcomes, and supporting the healthcare system during critical situations.
