The names of three university professors shine among the top 2% of scientists in the world.

According to the Public Relations Office of Shahroud University of Medical Sciences: Dr. Garmabi, Vice President of Research and Technology at the university, announced the selection of three faculty members (Dr. Mohammad Hassan Emamian, Dr. Majid Salehi, and Dr. Afsaneh Keramat) in the latest list of the top 2% of scientists worldwide for 2024.

Dr. Garmabi stated: The Stanford-Elsevier list of top scientists includes the best scientists worldwide and was published in September 2024 (Shahrivar 1403).

The Vice President of Research and Technology at the university stated: This list highlights the top 2% of scientists worldwide, showcasing the most influential researchers across a wide range of scientific fields.

Dr. Garmabi added that the evaluation metrics include the number of articles, the number of citations excluding self-citations, the number of single-author articles, the percentage of self-citations, the h-index of scientists in specialized fields, and a composite index called the c-score.

A faculty member of the university stated: Being among the top 2% of scientists signifies recognition of individuals' contributions to science and reflects global acknowledgment of their research excellence.

The Vice President of Research and Technology of the university, while congratulating Dr. Mohammad Hassan Emamian, Dr. Majid Salehi, and Dr. Afsaneh Keramat on this achievement, wished them continued success in all scientific and research endeavors from Almighty God.

It is worth mentioning that Dr. Mohammad Hassan Emamian is also listed among the top 1% of researchers worldwide, according to the Essential Science Indicators (ESI) ranking, published on September 12, 2024.
