Congratulatory message from the President of Shahrood University of Medical Sciences on the occasion of Dentist Day

The text of the message is as follows:

In the name of God, the life, wisdom, and healing of souls.

Dentists and dental hygienists, as members of the health team, play a prominent role in promoting community health in the areas of prevention and treatment of oral and dental diseases and teaching health methods to members of the community.

The 13th of Farvardin every year is Dentist Day and a symbol of appreciation for the status and standing of active workers whose services, from the perspective of the World Health Organization, are an integral and essential part of the health of society and a determining factor in the quality of human life.

The active presence of dentists in the fields of research, education, and clinical services improves the health of the community. Therefore, raising awareness and educating about oral health, as a social responsibility, plays an important role in preventing and reducing the spread of diseases related to this field, and it is necessary for all respected colleagues to continue to further improve the quantity and quality of dental services by utilizing the latest scientific achievements and new technologies.

 While celebrating and congratulating Dentist Day, I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation for the good and valuable efforts of dentists and dental hygienists, and wish them further success in providing health services.
