Message from the Deputy Minister of Health of Shahrood University of Medical Sciences on the occasion of "Health Week"

The text of Dr. Mehdi Mirzaei's message reads:
National Health Week 2025 is an opportunity to reflect on the path of growth and development that begins with health. This year's slogan, "Health Begins, a Bright Future," emphasizes the fact that the foundation of any successful society is the physical, mental, and social health of its individuals.
On this occasion, the Ministry of Health and Medical Education has announced the schedule of Health Week as follows:
-Monday: May 1st; Justice in health with family medicine and referral system
-Tuesday: May 2nd; Healthy environment, healthy society with public participation
-Wednesday: May 3rd; Maternal health literacy, young population, empowered generation
-Thursday: May 4th; Culture, art, media and health
-Friday: May 5th; Public sports, public health
-Saturday: May 6th; Fetal care, newborn health, a promising future
-Sunday: May 7th; No to accidents, yes to life
Maternal and infant health is the cornerstone of a healthy and dynamic future; therefore, paying attention to pre-pregnancy care through infancy is a valuable investment for future generations.
The Health Department of Shahrood University of Medical Sciences has always strived to create a healthy life for its citizens by expanding primary health services, promoting health literacy, and utilizing the specialized and scientific capabilities of its colleagues.
Without a doubt, achieving national health goals will not be possible without the support of the people, accurate information, and coherent planning.
Health Week is an occasion to appreciate all the hardworking people in the health field. Therefore, I consider it my duty to congratulate these days and express my gratitude for the efforts and struggles of the health community under the university's coverage, which are worthy of appreciation and praise, and to wish the general public health, happiness, and success.
