Eye Cohort Studies of SHMU results were introduced as a reference for the Eastern Mediterranean countries region (EMRO)

Dr. Najafi, the Scientific Association of Epidemiologists of Iran president, in a press conference which was held on World Vision Day in SHMU virtual training hall; emphasized the importance of longitudinal and prospective studies known as ‘cohort studies’ and stated: Longitudinal and prospective studies play a very important role in the level of evidence and determining the natural path of diseases and also the precise determination of many indicators that we need in the health system.
