For the first time, core needle biopsy (CNB) of subcutaneous masses, especially breast masses, was performed with ultrasound guidance at the specialized and subspecialty polyclinic of Shahrood University of Medical Sciences. This service, with the joint cooperation of radiology and general surgery specialists and their simultaneous presence in the sampling process, is considered a significant development in the early diagnosis of breast diseases.

The ceremony to honor and introduce the new Vice President for Research and Technology of Shahrood University of Medical Sciences was held in the health hall of the university on Sunday, January 20th of this year, in the presence of Dr. Emamian, the head of the university, Hojatoleslam Vamoslamin Baghshani, head of the leadership office at the university, members of the board of directors, deans of faculties, along with a number of professors and employees, as well as Dr. Hassan Pour, the Vice President for Research and Technology of Shahrood University of Technology. Dr. Hossein Ebrahimi was introduced as the new Vice President for Research and Technology of the university and Dr. Garmabi's efforts were appreciated.
