The International Programs Unit serves as the dedicated administrative and academic nexus for all international students pursuing the Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at the School of Medicine. This unit is tasked with facilitating a seamless, high-quality educational experience that meets the specific needs of our global cohort.

Core Functions and Focus:

Global Outreach and Admission: Manages the international admission process for the General Medicine program, attracting highly qualified candidates from around the world based on merit and academic excellence.

Curriculum Implementation: Ensures the rigorous, 7-year General Medicine curriculum is delivered effectively to international students, incorporating necessary language and cultural bridging support.

Student Support Services: Provides comprehensive support services covering academic advising, visa and residency compliance, cultural integration, and continuous liaison with the School of Medicine faculty to monitor student progress.

Quality Assurance: Acts as the primary guarantor for maintaining the academic standards and international recognition of the MD degree offered to non-domestic students, aligning closely with national and international medical education benchmarks.
