Vice President for Research and Technology of Shahrood University of Medical Sciences appointed

The text of the appointment order is as follows:

Dear Professor;
Mr. Dr. Hossein Ebrahimi,
a respected member of the university faculty,
with greetings and respect,
in view of your commitment, experiences, and valuable scientific, executive, and research background, you are hereby appointed as the "Deputy Director of Research and Technology of the University." It is expected that, in addition to adhering to the government and national agreements, by constructively interacting with other vice presidents and deans of faculties and hospitals, benefiting from the capabilities of managers and experts in that field, and attracting the cooperation of respected members of the faculty and staff, in addition to managing current affairs, based on existing regulations, rules, and regulations, you will pay special attention to planning for the following matters:
• Continuation of research programs based on the strategic plan of the university's research area and relying on improving the quality of research, developing technology, and creating value
• Increasing the quantity of scientific production by at least 20% annually compared to the previous year
• Strengthening relations with industry through knowledge-based companies and growth and technology centers
• Developing the Health Technology Campus in cooperation with the provincial Science and Technology Park
• Launching the Science and Technology Park according to the obtained in-principle approval
• Quantitative and qualitative development of research centers and obtaining their definitive approval and attracting sufficient researchers to these centers
• Attracting credits from outside the university and philanthropic nodes by 30% Research credits
• Developing international cooperation in all fields and in various ways, such as implementing joint research projects
• Developing health system research (HSR) in order to provide a reasoned response to the needs of the health system
• Strengthening electronic infrastructure and access to databases and improving the university's webometric ranking
• Strengthening university journals and supporting the university's journal and publication coordination office
• Paying special attention to establishing national and international standards of ethics in research
• Attracting and supporting elite researchers and technologists from within and outside the country
• Developing student research and holding educational workshops and student conferences
• Registering the university in global ranking systems and achieving top positions at the national and international levels
